About Jimmy Montoya
Hello, I am Jimmy Montoya with Simply Real Estate! I was born in Albuquerque and I have lived here most of my life! Call me a home-town boy if you like; but I do know a whole lot about Albuquerque and the beautiful state of New Mexico! As a young boy, I remember riding my bike to my dad's Chevron station on 16th and Lomas Boulevard, then to Old Town Plaza with the shoeshine box that my dad made for me. He knew then that earning my own money would give me confidence. It also gave me the opportunity to watch tourists who took interest in our unique culture. It made me proud of our city!
While attending the University of New Mexico, I was fortunate to work with an off-campus recreation program. I got to travel all over NM and learn so much about our great state. That re-enforced my appreciation for New Mexico! Today, my young adult kids will tell you that my favorite family time is taking short day-trips to nearby attractions. Since opening One Accord Realty in 2003, and now, recently joined Simply Real Estate, I am passionate to welcome and tell newcomers about the wonderful areas around their new home... I realize that my affection for Albuquerque and near-by communities is only a small part of what I offer as a Realtor. Most home buyers already know why they want to live in or near Albuquerque...
